September 2015 – Richter acted as investment banking and tax advisor to Expresco in the sale of the business to Premium Brands. The transaction was led by Richter’s Alon Wexler and supported by Mitch Stein and Katherine Borsellino.
Expresco is a leading manufacturer and marketer of high-quality grilled protein products, including handmade specialty seasoned skewers, for customers in both the food service and retail channels. Premium Brands is a leading Canadian specialty food manufacturing and distribution company.
Premium Brands plans to increase Expresco’s presence into its deli channel and incorporate its products into existing sandwich offerings.
