January, 2023 – Richter acted as seller and tax advisor to Les Espaces Memoria Inc. (“Memoria”), in the partnership of the business with Athos Commemorative Service. Established in Quebec for more than four generations, Memoria offers funeral services and support, to honour memory and celebrate life in the Montreal Area.

The transaction was led by Richter’s Joe Lo Dico and supported by Jean Desrochers, Mitch Stein, Alain Pérusse, Nadia Ahmed, Joël Dubois and Eric Marineau.

Athos Commemorative Services is a Quebec-based business founded in 2010 to offer an alternative to the wave of acquisitions by foreign multinationals in this industry.
