Working at Richter was above all fun. The dynamic and challenging work environment provided ample learning opportunities, while the staff themselves were always up for a little fun. The saying “work hard play hard” is not so much a motto but an expectation within the firm; as Richter truly defies accounting firm stereotypes. With a people first culture, Richter provides an open learning environment where summer students such as myself, are able to learn freely through observation, teaching, practice and even by making mistakes. While most accounting firms can offer you audit experience, Richter’s rotation program is unique to the industry. Through the rotation program, I was able to spend time in one of Richter’s consulting groups, and this experience helped broaden my view of a career in accounting. Richter held true to their recruitment promises, and I am excited to be part of the organization as my career begins.
